I have to agree with Tigger. It's all about the title and, I find, a URL with keywords in it helps ALOT. I also find naming conventions in images can be key as well. Google Images can send the new blog a bunch of traffic.
I stick with All in One
SEO. I find it gives me control over the title and let's me keyword individual pages. Which I like.
I find it's hard to be as diligent as I should about
SEO. Much of what I do is focus on keywords in the article and then run an individual Title on the page.
Most else is architecture. Have a clean site with text nav that's easy for people and search engines to move around it. Make sure images and pages are named well. And always use a sitemap plugin (I use Simple Sitemap).
I also find Webmaster Tools in Google is GREAT. By running my sitemap though there a few times as I'm posting new content, eventually Google will start indexing my posts literally in seconds, it doesn't rocket things to the top of rankings, but makes the Google spidering turn around lightening fast.
Always love hearing about new plugins and ways to get more traffic.
