I've not installed any new themes for ages so I couldn't direct you to any nice ones, plus it depends on your taste in themes , its just a case of looking around and finding one you like the look off that will have the three columns

adding images into the theme / layout isn't hard

Host monster have just told me they dont allow adult content and will deactivate my account so I need another one to host it, where is one that is ok

try looking around the graffiti section we are always getting guys submitting hosting plans or search for one on a SE - all my hosting is UK based which is more expensive than the US deals you will get

Is there anything to look for when choosing a host, some have wordpress others don't. Hostgator looks good but a bit expensive compared to the others.

I would look for one that has "Fantastico" installed or some other auto install features - but to be honest thats pretty standard and most of the budget cheap hosts will offer this - if they don't say they offer it send them an email asking as this will help you a lot with installing and updating

make sure they have some auto install or Fantastico as you will need that otherwise getting WP installed will give you a headache

They said they have free install of wordpress. just reading the reviews some are good and some are bad maybe hostgator is better

bottom line its budget cheap hosting so you get what you pay for, but so long as the host doesn't keep dropping offline and they have some install feature to get your blog running thats fine

I really don't know much at all. My one blog is fine the first one, The second one is the fantasies one I am still thinking about that. They are all hosted with my main website and I dont have access to the server. I want to do this third blog to learn about how it is hosted and how to build a blog or site. I know its alot to do but I want to start somewhere.

don't forget once the blog is installed check out the plugs in's you'll need and I'm sure theres a link for that in the must reads thread in playground

first install the theme and get the design how you like it, then install plug ins -

Platinum SEO pack,
Google SM generator,
statcounter plug in

then start adding your postings - simples
