Hi Guys,

Just found another plugin for customising what is shown on your side bar(s) Section Widget

Have just used this in its most basic form on a new blog - so it runs ok as far as I can tell on version 3.1

You can set it to display different things on different categories, pages, tag archives, search results......
You can set up as many instances as you like, so the combination are endless.

In the more advanced options you can create tabs within the one section and display up to 4 different sets of information, banners, etc.

I definitely give this a big thumbs up as it opens up all kinds of possibilities!

yeah I agree, and give me crap loads more work to do

But what it does offer is a means to target very specific content and hopefully get the punters click onto your sponsors - great tool

A similar plugin is My Custom Widget which I use for my blogs.

Quite happy with it - especially with the option to include PHP code in the widget (so be sure to give access only to users you trust )

I've never really used many of these plug ins but it does customise the display and target traffic extremely well - just means ideally 3 column themes are better

looks pretty interesting. Have a new blog I am still working through that it may come in handy to start with. Found a theme I really like the look of, but the layout is turning into a pain to control. That may do the trick

so far its working well but its on a new blog with zero traffic so far so I don't know if it will increase conversions, but as its showing customised content for that page it should do - but its just something else to try and make sales from traffic

or perhaps help with the latest g algo crapola. Isnt this 'farmer' update about having non relevent links next to the content, hence how they can tell if it is a content farm or not? Might be a way to help mitigate the confusion with the goddess of all things for everything.

not really its about original content so this plug in won't make any difference
