Curious, how many have installed the RTA plugin for their wordpress blogs?

In case you aren't aware, RTA is the Restricted to Adult labelling service, to insure your sites ( and blogs ) are properly labelled for all the software, that most parents don't use, but hey, don't cost anything to cover your ass, a little. Besides, its easier than adding the code into the header of your blog theme, each time you change themes.

I decided not to go with the plugin simply because I usually put their RTA image in my footers too. Last I looked, the plugin only handled the metadata in the HTML header. BUT.. that's really what is needed to work with browser restrictions anyway.

For sure it's handy and imho, RTA is a good idea to use

I've modified the header.php file of my sites to include it directly, plus add the graphic in the footer. I strongly dislike using so many plugins. Whenever possible I try to do it in code (which is not that difficult even for non-coders). I don't change themes all that often, and IMO, it's easier to re-add code than update plugins.

That said, I think it's a good idea to one or the other.

Yep, it's the first thing I add to my blogs.
It's sensible to do. It's a little hypocritical of the adult media community to complain about restrictions and censorship if they're not willing to make the slightest concession to help out in a voluntary system.
I'd rather have something like this in place than see strict controls being brought in that could damage freedom and harm the adult business.
