I`m looking for a WP theme where the front page shows the latest posts.

The default settings on WP will show the latest posts on the index - Its not the theme Jello

if you want to change that to a static page its within the "reading" section within the admin panel

Lets assume i`m Jello

I`m looking for a theme that`s shows the pictures of the latest post in thumbnails on the front page

nope can't elp

try one of the magazine type themes as they have features that will allow for images only to be displayed - or perhaps a plug in ? - but its something I've never looked for so sorry

some of the magazine style templates are really nice but you need a lot of content to fill them - least with a photo one you can just plaster photos all over it rather than trying to come up with all that text
