Is there a code to automatically move your most viewed post to the top/front of page like tgp thumbnail scripts do?

I'm sure there is, but you probably wouldn't want it. Such a plugin would guarantee you have the same post at the top forever. It'll always get the most hits simply because it's the first.

There are most popular plugins for the sidebar. That would probably be a better choice. Just do a search for 'most popular post plugin'.

I can see the idea behind having the most popular postings on the index plus with blogs most of the traffic does come deep so to a certain extent does it really mater if its "featured" on the index

But I don't know of a plug in as I've never looked for one

I'm actually thinking of using it on a tube style them like this http://tube.xxxadultsexxxx.com/ but more for a contest type thingy using the blog as strictly cms until that no longer pans out for the site.

But after thinking about it, it might make more sense after all to have the highest rated images in the side bar(s) and linked into the main posts so as not to waste the doorways SEO of the blog

Any ideas on a sidebar plug in or hack for that?

Or maybe I should just use most viewed with images...

On my tube site, I have it on the sidebar. Came with the theme I think as I don't remember adding one. But hey I am nearly as old as . You can see it at my gay tube site here

There are several use the phrase "most viewed post" in plug in search. They will be on first page. You have to set the sticky post options.
