I'm so over it, all these little quirks, gliches, and miscues are starting to become a royal pain in the neck. So I've got my new tube site still up on the lift, hood open, fingers crossed. Normally I'll set my permalink structure to custom first thing, this time I waited after I loaded about six posts, but it still shouldn't have mattered. So I change the permalinks to custom, load the .htaccess file, only to find out those related video thumbs under the video don't show.

So where is the quick fix for this, in the functions file? Surely I just go in with a screw driver and tighten up some bolts, right, then all will be right with the world....

Quick fix, edit each post, then resave it. It SHOULD in theory, add the new permalink.

Go in admin to posts all then edit, then click the update. it should show the new permalink and be all working.

IF NOT, then try adding something to the title, then click the 'update' on the far right, where 'publish' used to be.

Thanks my friend, I was smart enough to try that, didn't work. I think your original suggestion to start from scratch may be the wisest choice. That's the whole point of these scripts, so they will function for us in this way....UGH!!

Good luck, I don't know, that theme cold be a bit wonky or something. I was playing with it, and frankly, I turfed it. Way too many oddities in it for me, including a widget for making reservations? Bit odd I thought.

Hmm, no widget for making reservations in my AP. I'm not too far into it to change to another them, but which one, I asked a while back here what to use.

Anyow, it's pretty cool I just think some files needs to be tweaked.

What's going on, Housekeeper? Don't understand thread but I'm into a couple Samuel Adams for breakfast LOL.

Caught my eye cause I was going out of my mind yesterday not being able to get a link on that taxonomy hack and then I finally updated permalinks by resaving and BANG there was my link.

You haven't changed a bit my friend, try two raw eggs in a pint of Guinness, that'll get your day started..

Still not sure whether to try a new script or keep dicking around with this one.

Well I'm even more hammered now, but is it a wordpress theme and what problem are you having with it?
