A little bit of everything, from the saucy, to the serious. Nothing but the unvarnished truth, until I can come up with a better story. Until then I'll stick to the one I got, which is, Tigger did it.

time management
Ever find yourself in one of those situations, where you have a ton of projects on the go, then life comes around and kicks you in the balls?
So what do you do?
Do you fold your tent, and head off into the sunset, or do you hunker down, and keep on going? Not easy, when you have to deal with constant distractions, a hectic working environment, where your attention can no longer be focused on the line of code, or in choosing the right colors for a new layout, or even for making a coherent posting.
Myself, I think the solution is time management, and a willingness to push yourself to the limits, or at least, that used to be my thinking. Now, as one gets older, the pushing of the old bones isn't easy, nor practical. Life is a bitch, and you need your wits about you just to survive, never mind deal with the added complication, that has taken over your life.
I think, we rush too much, said it a dozen times, and we make hasty decisions as a result. My changes, well, didn't just show up. They have been brewing, and well, I ignored them. Sometimes, one just does not want to face reality, and I am one of those types.
Yet now, I am left without any options. So for me, I need to make some hard choices, of what to keep, what to discard, and what to simply allow to become dormant. I am not going to rush, and toss them away, because things change, situations change. One has to keep that in mind, and allow for the future, which frankly, I believe most of us do not do.
Sites come and go, just as people come and go. Sad to think of, hard to accept even, but it is true, but sites don't have to disappear. Oh the great Google may toss you a few crumbs, or knock you for a few loops, but that all pales with reality of life. I think, that the answer lies in how we approach our business, at how we limit ourselves, to what we can manage, not what we would like to think, we can manage.
Then the choices become easier. The question becomes, more of making better use of time, and of being aware, that things change, circumstances alter, but life, is constant. You are born, and you die. What goes on in between, is, well, about how well one manages their time.
Kind of makes worrying about what site to keep active, rather unimportant.
