well for the next few weeks I'll have something to watch as tomorrow the builders turn up to destroy my swimming pool - Been draining it today and had 25,000 gallons of water running down the road

starting tomorrow by removing all the tiles & surrounding then once its been stripped clean and resealed (hopefully) they will be rebuilding it

I'll take some photos and upload as they work

ta but its got its problems

theres a small crack in the far end that looses a bit of water - the swim jet system is fucked and some of the tiles are missing - also the edging stone going around is falling apart. Its 35 years old so its gone well and time for a good sort out

The pool will completely refitted out and I'm installing an automatic cover at the same time which should be fun seeing then cutting into the pool walls fitting that

I'll updated the thread with photos as it goes along but its going to be 4-8 weeks

Damn, now that is what I call a BIG RING AROUND THE TUB! You better have more than one bath a year hun, it'll cut down on the cleaning

Knew someone who had an electric pool cover. Neighbors Great Dane got out and went running accross the pool cover. All four paws fell through in the center. Dog couldn't move. Funny situation but nobody was laughing

this one is made from polycarbonate sheets and is also classed as a safety cover as you can walk across it - so hopefully I won't have my little westie putting her paws through it

so what they remove all the tiles rather than going over the top off ? so what all those little tiles?? mad that would drive you mad getting all those tiles off

yes they remove the tiles with hydraulic hammer which is just what you want to hear at 8am in morning - hopefully should take longer than a few days
