I'm working on a basic web site development course for online presentation and am doing a short section on SEO. The target audience is newbies, so I decided a basic graphic would be helpful to better identify what the terms mean when you're looking at search results pages.

This is an intentionally very low grade graphic, looking for comments. Low grade since I'm getting paid to do this and a graphic I develop for them to emphasize the course material shouldn't really show up anyplace else intact...

Remember, this is just a basic concepts overview of SERPs - is there anything else that you'd add? Comments?

Elephants huh? You just like em big don't ya?

Not really sure what you are asking, but honestly that 'sample' is way too huge and kind of takes away too much of the natural serps and stuff. I'd maybe have that smaller, so the outcalls aren't obscured by it. I guess what I mean is, the outcalls are overwhelmed by that sample stamp. if that makes any sense

Other than that, I think its not bad.

believe me, I have no clue where 'elephants' came from - many, many years ago... one of the first times I was doing a live class sesson on using a web browser and search engine (I think it was with Mosaic), I used elephants as an example... for whatever reason, been doing it ever since

so long as it seems to get the point across about what's what on the page, it does the job
