I guess everybody thinks of them differently. I tend to think of a dynamic site as anything with a database used for the content and server side programming making decisions about what to load where. That includes content managment systems of all types, including blogs.

Some dynamic sites are fully custom builds - I think those are the ones that drive ya nuts. Those SITES can be huge JOBS, right? Other dynamic sites, using canned applications like WordPress make things easier to a point thanks to the efforts of so many talented programmers contributing their efforts.

I just come back home. And thank you for more great advise. I will start to learn the basics of SEO soon. I have been designing the front page or home page for BadGirlPanties.com and would like for you to see. and you said it's OK to start a thread about that. Right?

Brent. if i am not wrong it sounds like you think I should go with more than one website. I paid for many names and can do.

I feel more dumb everyday I read the posts like yours and Tiggers above but I now I am learning and will try to go slow and smart.

I am pretty deep in the "website tonite" think by godaddy.com. That one is for eroticRequests.com and I think I already give some $300.00 so maybe I should continue with it. But I think the BadGirlPanties will be top priorty when finish. Then I will do the Ninja!

Please be patient please and hopeful someone else is learning from all this too! so maybe save you some question later!

Oh. One more thing Brent or Tigger. It seem about 6 of my pics are missing from my album!?! Mostis pics that I have posted in the threads. So if I post the pic in the thread it can not go in album?

When I first put in. they were there but now when I go back they are gone which is not big deal I am just wonder if i posted wrong or can not do if in thread. And also want you to know in case get some site problem.

first, only because it's quick - there should be no conflicts between gallery pics and what's posted in threads. I can't think of a reason any would be missing. Only you and site admins can remove them.

STOP Don't do anything else with that!!!!! Did I mention STOP?!

That's how sites wrangle you into hosting packages that you don't need at pretty much unreasonable prices - ON A CONTRACT! If it's not too late, back out of it now.

'In general' site builders build truly CRAPPY websites that will do you just about zero good with SEO. In the end, you need direct control over the actual HTML code and site builders don't really like you to do that. This is where research comes in first versus jumping in. It's unfortunately a common error for people just getting started who are eager to get going.

You really should be focused on learning HTML and some CSS while you develop a business plan and ideas for your site(s). While you are doing that, in your spare time, you'll need to be getting a handle on SEO concepts. Doing anything as far as a site goes before you've got those at least a bit under control is a recipe for having to do it all over again in a few months...

You are in danger of running before you can walk hun! and the last thing you need to be doing is working on a site as without the basics of HTML, CSS & SEO your going to make some pretty big mistakes, the type of errors that will say delete it and start again

So, can we assume your going for a static ( HTML) site over a blog ? can I ask why ??

If your preference is a static site have you considered buying a template? least this way you don't have to worry about the design side of the site and most of the templates I've seen are cheap, like $30

But please, slow down

Hi Brent and.
i make some big mistake and give Godaddy almost all my money for "websitetonite" programs and now i know it is no good and I waste my money and time too.

They sell to me (chuck actually) the idea of site that so easy to build and they will help sooo much with the SEO too.

They do give some pretty good support and I can say that. But Is uncomfortable cuz the guy on the phone he can not talk so good sometimes and i can tell it is cuz he looking at all the pics in my gallery!! But what can do? They nice tho.

So what can do now? I have no one here (professional) that i will show my website. that is ZERO. I have a million pics and 200 new panties. I also just made purchase of new name..now have 29 names!! but this mostly chucks idea and he spend the money but I will pay back.

My newest name is for the Ninja concept. The name is NinjaMistress.com and i was soo excited to start that one after the BadGirlPanties.com.

Eroticrequests almost finish but have to have some plan to get collect money and that is problem with no paypal.

Tig, i promise you now I will slow down. main reasons I have no where i can go, no one to work with and or nothing i can do. My pubic will not go public. again I am the dork of the class.

what you need to do is work out what type of site your going to build - do you have the skills to do the graphics ? do you have the software programs?

whilst buying up names is fun at some stage you need to consider developing them and you should be practicing building sites, it doesn't have to be yours in fact just pick a subject and build a site around it least this way you'll gain valuable experience before you take on your own projects
