I know nobody will be around here for a few days but when ya' all get back maybe you can help me with an interesting problem. There is a network of paysites that have teamed up so that once you join one you get free access to all. So far so good.

Webmasters have to sign up to each one as they work independently of each other. It so happens that the one site in that group that does very well in my niche does NOT have an affiliate program. Their tour also sucks.

SOOOOO, what I want to do is this. I want to promote that one site, and say you also get the others, which you do. But since the main site I'm pushing has no affiliate program, I need the surfers to sign up under a different site that offers it as a fee bonus, see?

I'm not trying to trick anyone, they get all the sites. I just need them to join any one of them except the one they will be most interested in because of the lack of a program on their part. So the question is,,,, what's the best way to do that?

I thought of making my own custom tour page. It would have samples of all the sites, including the main one I want to push. Then I have a "join now" link that goes right to the join page on the best site I can find that has an affiliate program.

But their default code takes you to the tour, not the join page. Not sure if I can change it to the join page or not, they use ccbill. If not and they get the tour, they are going to be confused and think "hey I wanted to join site XXX and get the others for free, not join one of the other ones instead".

Can you think of any better way to do this? I'm not even sure if I made myself clear. If I can make this work I'm going to be making a couple hundred extra a month. Advice???

Geez, that's enough to make a guy wish he had taken a drink first

First, these are all individual sites, under ccBill or do they have NATS installed for affiliates?

Second you can direct link to the ccBill join page, but you need to be careful. It can change

Have you emailed the support for that site, you want to promote, to see if they have an affiliate program, or just assume it, as there is no 'webmaster' link?

IF any of the other sites are under NATS or MPA, this site you want may be listed in there, or at least have linking codes for it.

hth

Happy New Years

Hi there. All the sites are with ccbill. The main site HAD an affiliate account, then stopped it. These are all independent toon artist who do hentai, futanari, manga and so on.

They are very popular artist in their circles, which makes them convert very well. But by the same token they suck about running an affiliate program. Hench the bad tours and so on.

I suppose I can join up to one, then try to link to the join page. I can tell if it works by tracking my hits. I also could email them and see if I can get a link to the join page.

Not sure what else to do. Happy new year to you too.

that would be my first action - sales aren't exactly falling in right now and if you can show a site owner a possible flaw or ask for something you need to send sales I would be surprised if they didn't work something out for you

OK with my head I think that makes sense

Happy New Year! Yeah I know what the site owner has, which is no program. He did have one, but then took it down and just wants to be part of the group you get free when you join one of the others.

Artist only want to focus on their work, they suck at knowing how to make money or make a good tour and stuff. I have content for them all so I will make my own tour and try to get them to sign up under one of the other sites.

I have used this in the past:

http-//refer.ccbill-com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?CA=XXXXXX-0000&PA=XXXXXXX&HTML=http-//yoursite-com/tour/

But as GSM said, those type of links are subject to change, but there's no reason the aff code shouldn't be recognized and credit you with a sale.

What you're suggesting as far as promoting a sign up via another site with access to the other, personally I don't think that is wise, on the other hand if you're promoting the network, it should work in your favor.

Thanks housekeeper, I still have not tried it yet but will soon. I will word my tour so that they know they are joining a network that happens to have one site they really want. I will just display more teaser images and stuff for that one site.

That way there is no confusion or thinking they were mislead. It's actually a very good deal for those who love erotic artist work. I may even join for a month myself.

that should work fine for you, the first six digits is their account ?CA=XXXXXX-0000 the four digits are the sub-account, which in your case they have not established, however the credit will go to the original account, this is your aff code > &PA=XXXXXXX&HTML then of course the site re-direct.

You'd be wise to join yourself just to confirm that it works, it should, then you simply use that link to direct your traffic straight to that site. I've done that for years with shemale strokers, the main ccb ref points to rodney moore's site, but with the re-directs I use it for shemale strokers as well as black tranny whackers and suck my tranny cock, never had a problem. I also use it for nats cod by saying > ?nats=yourref

Hi Bill

The type of links that HK is refering to are activated/deactivated in the site owners CCBill control panel. If I remember correctly they are off by default so the owner would have to have activated it at some point. If he has done that then he probably forgot to de-activate when he canned his affililiate program.

Set a link up and send a few clicks to it. It should show up in your stats if it is activated
