hows everyone done this month? my figures have been crap to say the least and whilst I don't have previous years to look back on its not great ......am I the only one?

its not been a bad month and by the looks of things will be 5% up on same time last year so with the current economy not bad.

Next month histrionically is the worst with people crapping themselves as visa bills drop in after xmas spending - last year I saw a 15% drop from Jan to Feb figures , so get ready for a bad one next month

I now I have to go some to catch the amount of sites you have but I was at least hoping to have a half decent month this month and as for next with it being only 29 days I'm going to need all the luck I can find

Jan. sales overall have been very good for me. I'm using new sponsors, building more sites and trying new niches, something that helps a lot.

However this week has been the pits. Guess everyone needs to pay the rent and mortgage on the 1st of the month.

snap .......I had a very strong start to the month and had the first 10 days held through the month would have stood a chance to pay for my pool rebuild that due to be paid next week ...but like you last week was a major shit week.......thankfully March is only 30 days away

111 .....but a lot of those are linking tools that only get updated a couple times a month - my main traffic sites I have 8 that are updated at least 2/3 times a week, one updated every day thats now just gone over 2k uniques a day

FFS 111 are those sites or blogs ?

If you look at the people on linkspun, many have hundreds of sites. Most use automatic RSS update feeds. They only have a dozen or so really good sites.

I only have about 2 dozen, but I keep them all updated often with real hand written post and they all make money. At one time my best one got over 4,000 unique per day in a very narrow niche, down to 2,000 now.

does it matter, they are all hand coded sites as in no feeds and get traffic and sales. A lot are small sites in the 15-40 page mark but the bigger money sites are 200-400 pages, diversity is the key Pete hitting as many different themed terms as you can within narrow niches, then build your own linking tools as you will stave of links asking webmasters for them, or get some shitty links pages

Started off with a BANG! Covered my trip in the first week, then completely fell off, flat lined the second half of the month. Another month with high expenses, server, domains, now have to invest in some promotional material for the grab bags at the show.

So if you can't up the limit on the card lad, you'll have to put a hold on that pool construction and toss a brotha some coin. I'm going to need some pocket change if I'm going to treat those west coast queens in grand style....

Ever since I switched to Hostgator from hosting my sites myself I went from 1k uniques a day to between 3-4k. I should have switched sooner!!!

My January is up from last year when I was only promoting one sponsor and working on one site. Now, Like Bill, im working on more new sites and updating my existing sites. Sales have been getting better each month. I just hopes it keeps going higher. I have so many ideas for new mainstream sites that I just cant ever get around to actually doing. I also want to build a new busty Latina gallery and sign up with more sponsors and really build that niche. So much to do.
