I find this quite funny that a company that created a product where webmasters can place adverts within pages is now starting to attack those adsense sites ..but is this not an attack on the MFA sites ? after all most of those are pure spam created to push high value ads and offer nothing to surfers

So long as you have the content within the page to support the terms you are targeting then the amount of ads really isn't a problem.

Google I guess wants to specifically punsish sites with too many ads above the fold. How they determine what is above the fold is beyond me. Google needs more then a spanking. Google needs to be taken out behind the shed and given a serious beat down by all the neighborhood kids.

After all, they are about doing no evil, so what if they are trying to control the entire internet with their own products, we can trust Google to do what is right, what is honest.

I see a lot of Forums like the one I have post ads all over them and I just think it makes the forums look cheap. Ihave never put Ads on my forum cause I don't think it looks nice but I do wonder if the forums that do make any money from them. Two other forums I know in The Philippines are always asking their members to give money to help pay for the forum, this is another thing that I don't do. But are the Ads worth having?

Ads on sites can work if they are not just an after thought and allowed for when designing the site, but the click rate is low so you need a lot of traffic to make them work plus it has to be very targeted

Definitely worth having, and I would say when choosing banners, size and design are very important, as well as placement. You don't want them to simply serve as click-throoz, the thinking should be that they will convert. Another advantage is the use of alt tags...

Well, I don't get it. How will this effect electronic stores and such, there all based on ads. According to that video they say a few ads or no ads, that what side bars are for. As Tiggs would say "bullocks"
