I am new to the internet business and currently operate several free adult sites. At this time, I am devoting a couple hours a day to building and promoting these porn sites. Progress has been very slow in relation to the amount of work I've put in, but I'm still putting in that work.
Reflections on My New Porn Site and Primitive Understanding of SEO

So I still don't really know what I'm doing with search engine stuff. Twice within the past couple months, I've watched my first website, High Def Amateur Hardcore, gradually climb for weeks before rapidly falling off the map, dropping from position ~10 to somewhere in the 100s for my targeted keywords. These are broad and competitive keywords, and I was surprised I had initially risen so high, but I was and am profoundly confused by the rapid falls. While I don't keep abreast of current events relating to G the way I should, these drops didn't coincide in their timing, as far as I can tell, with the recent much-discussed algorithm changes or any major moves of my own in the on-page or off-page departments.
I responded to these setbacks in the best way I knew how - by just continuing to build content and links for this site and my others, as well as continuing to develop my several blogs.
As noted in the introduction to this blog, my time these days for adult-oriented projects has been reduced to a portion of what I previously devoted. I try to spend a good part of this time writing blog posts, if/when I can summon the ability to write the kind of filthy yet occasionally eloquent material filling these pages.
Besides this blogging and my frequent TGP submissions, which I'm beginning to see as a big waste of time, I've also spent time building the movie and photo pages at a couple new sites. The best developed of these is called HD Porn Pics and Flics, and while relatively small, I think it represents an improvement in several ways from my earlier sites. Like the earlier sites, one theme and selling point is free HD porn in the form of movies and photos. While my High Def site focused on amateurs and webcam girls, the focus of this new one is predominantly pornstars, although it also includes a pretty cool amateurs section. Featured pornstars include some of my favorites, like Priya Rai, Asa Akira, Nikki Benz, Kelly Divine, Chanel Preston, and Brazilian hottie Joyce Oliveira.
I think the new site shows improvement over earlier sites because its content and design reflect a few things I've recently learned. Each page contains at least a couple hundred words of text, something I had previously neglected, but which seems important for search engine rankings. Also, each page is intentionally built around a single keyword, and ready for conscious, more productive link-building efforts.
These things may sound elementary for people who have spent time building porn sites and doing adult SEO work, but for me they have taken time to learn and apply. I would like some day (hopefully soon) to be able to look back at this post and laugh, possessing far more effective SEO techniques than I have at the present time.
